Sisterhood Movement

Women all over the world walk around with deep scars covered by layers of make-up or a smile. Let us remove those layers and begin the journey of healing. It is known that women in different age groups go through a lot of trials and tribulations in life. It is time for women unite and be one, speak in one voice in issues that affect the nation. This week I would like to speak life and unity to Inzalabantu.

Bafazi lets help each other heal.

Let us celebrate our individualism and the uniqueness in you.

Let us hold each others hands in building a nation of bold and assertive women.

Life is a journey let us walk side by side through the dark tunnels and the sunny days.

Let’s us mentor each other.

To married women:

Let us help prepare the women aspiring to be married for marriage.

Let us be honest: Marriage is not easy and not for the faint-heart.

Marriage works best when you are one with your spouse. When that union embraces the individual character it builds a strong team.

Let us be authentic and honest about our experiences to our children, sisters and society.

Ladies in relationships:

Reassess your relationship: Are you happy or just tolerating?

Are you genuinely seeking companionship or after the benefits?

Are you doing the chasing or being chased?

Do you have an identity outside the relationship?

Remember there is nothing wrong with being single.

To young girls:

Take time to find yourself, learn more about your strengths and weaknesses (your skills and talent). Do not settle for the first plate that you are served with. Always dig deep. Be intentional about your goals and the people you allow in you space. Be bold enough to challenge the status quo – forge a new path.

In pursuit of your identity there will be stumbling blocks, things will not go according to plan or at the pace you would like. That is okay but you do not stop or give up but adjust and keep it moving.

Remember never let your circumstances define and dictate who you are or who to become.

Let us start a Sisterhood Movement, where we:

Look out for each other.

Fix each others crowns.

Hold each others hands and support each hands.

And more importantly, let us heal... from all the ills, childhood trauma, unfulfilled promises...

Happy Women's Month Queens.

PS: let everyday be women's day...

  2. Thank you for the love and support. The Sisterhood Movement starts by small acts of kindness to one another. And grow the Movement by pledge allegiance to protecting each other...
